Thank you so much for joining us today! Tell us a little bit about yourself. What is your backstory?
Kris Harris : An entrepreneur and mechanical engineer living in the mountains, I am passionate about creating, collaborating, and understanding the world around me.
In your opinion, what makes your company stand out? Any examples?
Kris Harris : We are an adventurous lot! And this trait shows in everything we do. As a serial entrepreneur, I have had the good fortune of working with several brands and people. The one thing that defines all our projects and ventures is our ability to carve new paths even on our drawing boards, let alone what we do on the ground.
What are the TOP 5 mistakes people make when starting a new business? Please share advice/examples for all of them.
Kris Harris : Holding back on tech investments
New entrepreneurs often make the mistake of holding back on tech investments for their business, assuming that they can do this later when the company begins to grow. This notion couldn’t be further from the truth — it is early tech that helps a new business achieve extraordinary growth!
Digital adoption puts a new business at an advantage right from the starting line, enabling teams to achieve early stability and quickly aim for growth and expansion. It also helps employees adopt tech early on in the journey so that when the business is ready to launch its plans for rapid growth, they have already mastered the art of aligning tech solutions with company goals. With most SaaS solutions now offering the advantages of low-cost subscription options and scalability, going digital should no longer be a challenge for new entrepreneurs.
