The Interview

Thank you so much for joining us today! Tell us a little bit about yourself. What is your backstory?

Tracy cauley : I am working for “VEM Medicals” as a CFA. I worked for three distinct organizations before beginning my journey here, each with a different job profile. I’ve always been interested in Finance, so I decided that this is the area where I want to advance my career. I began looking for work opportunities in this area and kept looking until I discovered an internship with a company. I did pretty well there, so I was given the chance to work full-time again with VEM Medicals, which I could not pass up.

How do you ensure effective communication and collaboration among remote team members? Can you share any specific tools or practices that have been particularly effective for your organization?

Tracy cauley : As a Financial Advisor, it is essential for me to make sure that my team members are effectively communicating with one another. After experimenting with and evaluating a variety of approaches and tools, I came to the conclusion that project management and communication tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams, which enable real-time messaging, file sharing, and video conferencing, work wonders for my team. We can construct virtual places for team talks and maintain regular communication with the aid of these tools. Second, we hold frequent team gatherings and check-ins to share information, discuss issues, and promote camaraderie. We place a strong emphasis on concise communication and encourage team members to share knowledge and ask for clarification when necessary.

Maintaining work-life balance can be challenging in a remote work environment. What strategies do you recommend for remote employees to create boundaries between work and personal life? How can organizations support their employees in achieving a healthy work-life balance?

Tracy cauley : Following are a few strategies I would recommend to everyone after experimenting them on my own:
Establish specified working hours and let your employees know what they are. Define clear working hours. Try your best to adhere to these hours and resist the urge to work after them.
Establish a routine: Create a daily schedule that incorporates breaks, physical activity, and leisure activities. This procedure will make it easier for you to enter and exit work mode.
Set limits with coworkers: Your availability and response times should be made clear to your coworkers. Encourage polite conversation outside of business hours and let them know when you are offline or taking a break.
