Thank you so much for joining us today! Tell us a little bit about yourself. What is your backstory?
Lisamarie Monaco : I grew up on Long Island, New York. I have 7 kids combined with my husband, Danny. I worked at a Level One Trauma Center, Emergency Room for 18 years before I became an Independent Life Agent. My passion is photography. I love capturing moments and having the power to freeze time in a click of a button. I also love helping people achieve their goals and protecting their loved ones from financial burdens!
As we embark on the journey into 2024, what are your hopes and expectations for the year ahead, both personally and professionally?
Lisamarie Monaco : As we embark on the journey into 2024 on a business level my hopes are to have every aspect of our back office and client experience business streamlined and completely automated. This will free up time to do what we do best and to take care of our clients and their families. On a personal level, my goals are pretty much the same. I have and will continue to implement a life schedule so this way, I can possibly enjoy a day to relax and not have to work 7 days a week!
How do you see technological advancements influencing your field or industry in the coming year, and what opportunities or challenges do they present?
Lisamarie Monaco : I expect to see more AI and automation on many levels influencing our industry this year. Having automation in your business is so key in your day to day operations. This allows you to have the most efficient running business and will show your current clients and your potential clients that you are detail oriented, that you care about them and take great pride in helping them achieve their goals. The opportunities this presents are a personalized user experience for your clients and customers. The challenges it could present if not done correctly is automation mistakes, such as having emails or text messages go out at incorrect times. Or possibly not scheduling them appropriately and the client receive too many emails in a short period of time. You must make sure your automations are accurate, precise and give the client the ultimate experience in customer service!
As a leader or aspiring leader, what role do you believe diversity, equity, and inclusion will play in shaping the future of your industry, and how are you working to promote these values within your sphere of influence?
Lisamarie Monaco : Diversity, equity and inclusion play a huge role in shaping the future in our industry. You want your entire team to be on the same page, always. As a leader you need to be in the trenches along side your team doing the work. Have them collaborate their ideas as well. It may be your business, but they represent you as much as you represent you. They are the team who helps you grow and they are growing along side you!
