Thank you so much for joining us today! Tell us a little bit about yourself. What is your backstory?
Elisa Bender : I’m Elisa, an e-commerce enthusiast at heart. My mission is to make selling online simple and understandable to the everyday business owner. I mainly handle the RevenueGeeks sales side of things.
In your opinion, what makes your company stand out? Any examples?
Elisa Bender : Our unending commitment towards out customers and ability to go the extra mile for them is what makes us stand out from the rest!
What are the TOP 5 mistakes people make when starting a new business? Please share advice/examples for all of them.
Elisa Bender : Many inexperienced entrepreneurs fail to create a proper business plan. A document of this type does not need to be very extensive. Taking time to develop a business plan can help you maintain consistency in your efforts. It also acts as a rallying point for your team, and provides milestones to track your success. Your strategy must include a target audience, budget, production, place and marketing plan. It should contain precise financial projections for at least three years, including monthly cash flow, income statements, and annual balance sheets.
