The Interview

Let’s get started. First, we’d like to know more about how you started your business journey

Allix Stroiazzo Mougin : I have been running this particular business and have been involved this space, technology for 7 years now.
I have a big concern for our planet, environment and clean energies.
I want to contribute somehow to make our planet a better place and address there of our most critical issues
FOOD, ENVIRONMENT & ENERGY

Reflecting on your business history, what stands out as the single greatest challenge you’ve successfully navigated, and how did you overcome it?

Allix Stroiazzo Mougin : One of the biggest challenges has been to surround myself with a team of scientists, biologists and engineers who have believed in me and my vision. Keeping a motivated team that knew that everything they were doing and the advances after numerous trials and failures we were not going to give up. I overcame all these challenges with faith and firmly believe of what I am doing and was doing .

Businesses often face ongoing challenges. What does your business consistently grapple with, and how do you tackle these challenges head-on?

Allix Stroiazzo Mougin : From the very beginning, the most important challenge for the company to keep going was to convince investors. Another challenge we sometimes face are multinationals and trying to convince them that we are an alternative to capture and reduce their CO2 emissions, but more and more they are confronted to adopt environmental solutions and we are favored in some way.

Can you share with us the most unforgettable story involving a customer or client? What made it memorable, and what lessons did you draw from the experience?

Allix Stroiazzo Mougin : When I had to make a global presentation in front of 100 multinationals and all their respective representatives and convince them that we were the solution. We are talking about GCCA (Global Cement and Concrete Association) largest cement polluters in the world (8% of the total CO2 emissions worldwide). After that speech the GCCA recommended to implement our technology as a global solution. That was a great achievement .

Looking ahead, what are your current plans for your business when you retire?

Allix Stroiazzo Mougin : To leave the company in the hands of my daughters as long as they want, not to sell and to continue innovating. I want to somehow leave a mark in history that our company has contributed to solve such important problems as food, environment and energy.

Navigating the small business landscape can be both challenging and rewarding. Can you share a bit about the specific hurdles you’ve encountered in areas like sales, marketing, and adapting to changing customer trends?

Allix Stroiazzo Mougin : Being our company with a novel technology and with a range of products covering human food, animal feed, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and even a bio fuel has been a complicated task at the sales level because of the wide range of products but on the other hand being all organic there has been a great acceptance as customers increasingly want organic and non-polluting products and we meet these objectives and has industrial scale which guarantees supply.
