Let’s get started. First, we’d like to know more about how you started your business journey
Tom Fraizer : Redivider was founded in 2021 by Tom Frazier, Eric Appelblom and a few other veteran data center experts on a mission to deliver zero emission edge data centers–with a bold mission to bolster new economic opportunity zones simultaneously.
“We focus on people, planet and profit in that order. The data center of the future needs to be green and benefit communities, not just Wall Street,” said Tom Frazier, CEO and founder.
Reflecting on your business history, what stands out as the single greatest challenge you’ve successfully navigated, and how did you overcome it?
Tom Fraizer : Hiring the right talent but over time found more than I needed so I formed a world-class advisory team too.
Businesses often face ongoing challenges. What does your business consistently grapple with, and how do you tackle these challenges head-on?
Tom Fraizer : The high demand of AI driven data increasing carbon foot print is counter culture to our mission…and thus why we are more driven.
Can you share with us the most unforgettable story involving a customer or client? What made it memorable, and what lessons did you draw from the experience?
Tom Fraizer : Too many to detail here but I can detail a few in the interview.
Looking ahead, what are your current plans for your business when you retire?
Tom Fraizer : Redivider is about people, planet and culture so ensuring the next generation of enterprise businesses and consumers are greener. I will retire when we are greener.
Navigating the small business landscape can be both challenging and rewarding. Can you share a bit about the specific hurdles you’ve encountered in areas like sales, marketing, and adapting to changing customer trends?
Tom Fraizer : As an entrepreneur everything is different. In large corporations you have teams to do various aspects. As a founder you do it all then add the team.
