The takeaway

Use AI to scale technical audits and routine checks, but keep human oversight for final editorial review and placement vetting. Fix indexing, site structure, and internal links first, because nothing else works reliably without that foundation.

01

What’s the quick origin story of your business, and what makes what you do genuinely different from the other options your customers are looking at?

I started TechFocus360 to do guest posting and link building the honest way: no PBNs, no spam networks, no inflated metrics. Most of what’s different isn’t a clever trick; it’s that we manually vet every placement and I personally handle campaigns instead of an account manager who’s never seen the client’s site. I also built 10 free browser-based tools alongside the agency no signup, nothing gated because if a tool genuinely helps someone, that trust compounds long before we ever pitch them anything.

02

Where does most of your new business come from today, and where do you wish it came from?

Right now it’s mostly direct outreach on LinkedIn, Fiverr, and cold pitches. I’d like more of it to come from organic search and referrals, honestly, since that’s a stronger trust signal than any cold message can be. We’re actively building that through content and earned backlinks rather than paying for shortcuts.

03

What’s one thing you’ve actually handed over to AI in the last year, and one thing you tried it on and went back to doing the human way?

I use AI heavily for technical SEO audits, finding broken links, checking schema, and spotting indexing issues across hundreds of pages faster than I could manually. What I went back to doing myself: final editorial review before anything publishes. AI drafts get things confidently wrong often enough that skipping a human check isn’t worth the risk to a client’s site.

04

Have you noticed a change in how customers find you or what they already know before they reach out? Is anyone arriving through AI assistants like ChatGPT yet?

It’s early for us as a newer site, but I’m already restructuring content around it, writing clearer, more direct answers specifically because AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity are increasingly where research starts before someone ever reaches a website. I’d rather build for that now than retrofit it later.

05

If you were advising someone in your industry on all of this for the next 12 months, what would you tell them to actually do, and what would you tell them to ignore?

Do: fix your technical foundation before anything else: indexing, site structure, internal links. It’s unglamorous, but nothing else works without it. Ignore: anyone promising guaranteed rankings or a specific timeline. No ethical agency can promise that, and if someone does, that’s the clearest red flag in the industry.
